Remember, Foodborne illness outbreak investigations are sometimes difficult and take time. However, the FDA, CDC and State Health Departments are good at what they do.

With at least 160 clinical (human) samples of Salmonella Africana, it is perplexing why no announcement as to a cause of the outbreak has been announced.
