The Camden County Health Department has been notified by a health care provider that a food handler employed at a Starbucks at 1490 Blackwood Clementon Road in Gloucester Township tested positive for hepatitis A and worked through the infectious period.

This afternoon, the Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts (RCAHD) announced that RCAHD has identified a total of 50 confirmed primary cases and 2 secondary cases.  There have been at least 31 hospitalizations and unfortunately 3 deaths.

RCAHD stresses that hepatitis A

We have been retained by the family of the deceased and 17 other Hepatitis A victims.

Today, the Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts (RCAHD) announced that an adult who was hospitalized with complications from hepatitis A, and who had underlying medical conditions, has died. The RCAHD will disclose no further information about the individual

The Virginia Department of Health says the number of total people

The Virginia Department of Health says the number of total people linked to three Famous Anthony’s restaurants infected with hepatitis A has increased to 14.

According to press reports, Dr. Cynthia Morrow with the Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts (RCADH) spoke about the hepatitis A exposure situation during a Zoom meeting on Tuesday afternoon.
