On Friday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that a total of 141 persons infected with the outbreak strain of Salmonella Typhimurium had been reported from 20 states linked to Indiana grown cantaloupe.  The number of ill persons identified in each state is as follows:
