Yesterday, we reported that an employee at a Boise, Idaho Cheesecake Factory restaurant had tested positive for hepatitis A, and had worked while infectious, presenting a risk of infection to restaurant customers.  The Boise employee wasn’t involved in food preparation, however, and the risk of infection to customers is thought to have been low.

Food Safety News reports, a Massachusetts resident who first tested positive for brucellosis has now been confirmed to not have the infection, according to an email from the assistant commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR).

Kradjian Imp Co. of Glendale, CA is recalling 231 cases of cheese distributed in Southern California to Mediterranean specialty markets because the cheese may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
