Ferrero USA has recalled two Kinder brand chocolate products in the United States. Almost 150 children in Europe and the United Kingdom have been infected with Salmonella that has been found in the Belgian production plant.
According to Belgian health officials and Ferrero, internal analysis by the company detected Salmonella at the plant in mid-December.

The Chicago Department of Public Health is warning city residents not to serve or eat raw oysters that were linked to a norovirus outbreak that has impacted more than a dozen states, including Illinois.
According to the department, the oysters were harvested from a specific area
Oysters were shipped throughout Canada and to California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Texas and Washington. To date, 279 norovirus illnesses reported in Canada, 26 in Washington, 34 in California, 29 in Minnesota and now 4 in Hawaii. Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Oregon and Texas have yet to report.
