The Ashland-Boyd County Health Department has confirmed a sixth case of Hepatitis A. The fiver previous cases reported in Ashland-Boyd County included an employee of the Burger King restaurant on Winchester Avenue in Ashland.  None of the cases are apparently linked to consumption of food at the restaurant, but the Ashland-Boyd County Health Department will be hosting a vaccination clinic nonetheless for people who ate products from the Burger King drive thru the week of Nov. 7 and on the days of Nov. 15 and 17.  The odds that vaccination will successfully prevent illness in any infected individuals is low, given that the exposure period was over two weeks ago.
