This week’s Food Safety Infosheet from the International Food Safety Network focuses on foodborne illness outbreaks that were traced to foods served at restaurants. In Ontario, Canada, an E. coli O157:H7 outbreak was traced to a mediterranean restaurant, and in Wisconsin a viral outbreak – believed to be either rotavirus or norovirus – was traced to a restaurant.
