According to WZZM 13 TV, the Michigan Department of Community Health is investigating an outbreak of a potentially-deadly strain of E. coli bacteria.

One person in Kent County and one in Ottawa County have become ill. At least four others around the state have also become sick.

The source appears to be under-cooked ground beef served at different restaurants around the state.

WZZM 13 sat down with the Grand Rapids man still recovering from his bout with a bad hamburger.
