It is no longer suitable to call the cantaloupe Listeria outbreak the “Jensen Farms outbreak” or “Frontera cantaloupe outbreak.”  A major player in our country’s complex food safety system–in fact, the entire industry–was just indicted for its undeniable role in the deaths of 31 people across the country.  Third-party auditors are failing consumers across the board, and across the country.
